Just like most people I have always been fascinated by the night sky. During my childhood my family would go camping a lot. We would go places where the glow from the city lights would completely disappear and the night sky would reveal the most spectacular views. I wouldn’t have changed anything, but as time goes on and we become adults I unfortunately don’t get the see those views as often as I would like. I felt like there was nothing I could do about it. I felt something was missing every time I returned to the rat race.

In 2018, my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Sure enough the first song we sang to her was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. As time went on we realized we should try to get her to sleep in her own room. For some it is an easy task, however it was the hardest thing I have tried to do. Call me a sucker for not being able to hear my little girl cry, but I knew something had to be done. One night I was holding her in my arms in the backyard while rocking her. She kept pointing at the stars. I had a flash back from my childhood and remembered my glow in the dark stars in my room. So I looked up glow in the dark stars for sale and to my surprise nothing about them has changed since I was a kid. I felt that with the technology we have nowadays there should have been an improvement in having stars in our bedrooms. A couple weeks went by and I couldn’t stop thinking about how I could put stars in her room that would just wow her to sleep and then I stumbled upon an ad for a kids night light that was fiber optic strands and I knew that was the way to go. I found there were actually quite a few options for fiber optic kits and in all different price ranges. As I looked through all these options I had 3 main goals in mind. The first goal was that the units had Bluetooth compatibility so I could use my phone to change the color and turn it on and off in case we lost the remote and I knew my 2 year old would definitely lose that. The second goal was to have a twinkling effect, meaning that each star would fade in and out at random parts of the ceiling at a time. The third goal was wanting a product that I wasn’t going to have to replace in a year because of quality control. I treated this project like it was a hobby of mine, many hours of research and checking reviews and watching videos. I finally pulled the trigger on a light kit that was going to be perfect for her 10×12 room. When it finally came in I had a couple of buddies come over to help me install it, and let me tell you when I say, it was way harder than I anticipated. So I called around to see if any local contractors would install them for me, after telling them what needed to be done they all agreed to do it but for an astronomical price. I decided I would just get back to it, and I failed a couple of times due to tangling of the tiny fibers but I finally got it. The look on my daughter’s face every time the stars turn on is priceless! She melts my heart when she says what color she wants that night, and to answer your question. Yes, she is sleeping in her own room, she wakes up a couple times a night but doesn’t cry and will just look at the stars and fall back to sleep. I posted a few pictures on social media and had quite a few of my friends and family asking if I would help them do it for their homes. That is when we decided to start this business and become professional installers and have a reasonable rate that is affordable for other people to have their dreams come true like mine. I have always wanted to do something in life that helps people, when a customer reached out to me telling me that their son has extreme anxiety and had the stars installed their son has had calmer nights and is now really interested in the constellations. I figured there could be similar types of situations for adults that this could also help with. For almost 8 years I have worked for an amazing local company that puts their customers at the top priority. I found that the right customer service will make a company rise above all and will refer more people which will keep the business strong for years to come. In a sense I am going to use the same model as that company and show every customer what real service is and that anyone looking to add fiber optic lights to their lifestyle that they can trust in us for quality products, services and guarantees.
